| Location, Location, Love the location - 10/16/2011 | |

I know it's by the trains, but it's on the right side of the tracks. I love how it's not in a high traffic area and I can really get focused on my studies here. I've enjoyed Breken since spring, but the fall vibe at this place is super cozy. I was lucky enough to be spend a couple of hours here this past weekend. I like their breakfast items, although it can be a bit greasy to my liking. I also like that they offer Smith Tea Maker teas. It's a relaxing place where you can definitely get your work done with a decent view. |

Train noises and skyward traffic aside, this cozy little hotspot is a place I can grow to love. I already do. Perfect for a cup-of-joe enjoyed in solitude, or for a much needed babble with an old friend, this place have earned a piece of my heart. I will be visiting again! |

| Favorite Tuesday Morning Stop - 7/31/2011 | |

Of all the cafes I visit (honestly, there are a lot), Breken is my current favorite for a quiet Tuesday morning before work. Their espresso is quality, and 50 cents less than other options in the Pearl. The building itself is unique, stylish and open. Breken's location is even 5-star worthy: train meets industrial meets nw business. This place has been a neat little surprise. |

Great atmosphere, good food, teas from Smith Teamaker. You will find a lot of business/agency folks as well as families. Good for work/lunch meetings or to just hang out with some girlfriends. |

| Breken is the last of the industrial Pearl. - 7/15/2011 | |

Vibrations of freight trains rolled through my body as I sat and drank my latte at Breken. Amazing views of the Fremont bridge sitting on the once industrial loading dock. The environment is so cool here... inside outside. Old industrial warehouse turned cafe. Tons of seating and free wifi await. The breakfast sandwich and service was okay, they were pretty busy and it took a while to get my drink and food. nothing to write home about, but that's okay because there wasn't any room left after writing about such cool atmosphere and location!! :-) |
