Twilight, or any time of day that elicits heightened emotion... the defnition of Bluehour, but in Portland it has come to mean great place to eat and drink. Since September 2000, Bluehour, in the Pearl District has been Portland’s premier modern Mediterranean restaurant.

I have been going to Blue Hour for years, but today it's received a reinvigoration of new talent from the kitchen to the bar. Their new food menu. Oh. Em. Gee. It is amazing! Featuring a new chef from no less than SPAGO, Blue Hour went from a 2 on food and a 10 on staff, to being an even steven 10 across the board. Their watermelon/tomato salad is KILLER! They kept the ever popular mahgarita pizza is still gracing their menu, along with the salmon tartare, but the rest has gotten a complete makeover. Take a new look at Blue Hour. You will not be disappointed. |

Fabulous weather calls for drinks outside at Bluehour. Today I was sitting on Bluehour's patio on historic 13th avenue in the Pearl. The drinks are very fresh here. I had one of my regular drinks, a Greyhound. The Grapefruit was fresh squeezed which made the drink oh sooooo good. |

Normally with happy hour food you get good deals with just OK food. @bluehour you get only the finest. the burger was out of this world good. They don't downgrade the ingredients for hh. The out seating is some of the best in the Pearl for sure with the views of busy 13th Ave. I'm def go a add this to my reg list |

I just visited bluehour for the first time for their happy hour and I can only imagine how good their dinner menu is if their happy hour was this good! You have to try the New York Sour from the happy hour menu! The pizza was delicious and my friends tried the bluehour burger and had the option to specify how they preferred their meat to be cooked. Most happy hours only offer it one way. The atmosphere is trendy and chic but not stuffy. Service was great. I left happy hour really happy ;) |
