No other explanation needed - great coffee. Lots of room, great place to meet friends or to do work. |

| What's with all the weird hanging lights?? - 8/11/2011 | |

What's with all the weird hanging lights?? Ok, there is nothing really bad about Cloud Seven, but I don't know if I can experienced anything all that amazing either. Yah, they have wireless, lots of place to sit, and coffee of course. With all the coffee shops in the Pearl, i wish they could deliver something more unique! |

This cafe expands beyond the preconceived notions of what one would expect to find flanking Jameson Square but you'll be happy to find its pleasantly more. With a staff once hailing from the ever-missed Sydney's Cafe, its always a pleasure to be greeted with a genuine smile and welcoming allure. Coffee (the pump-driven variety and pour over!) and pastries are par for the course but should you wander in later in the day, sample a rotating selection of locally supported wine and beers. The menu changes with the seasons and I'm a great fan of the chef - so much so - I followed his work here and have indulged in his catering masterpieces. As others have noted, the atmosphere is warm and the location couldn't be better - inside, the walls are bright with local art and there are plenty of places to sit down and plug in. Outside, you'll find seating to relax, write, read, or plan your next adventure...or just people watch the day away. |

Probably my favorite place to study in NW Portland...it's all about the atmosphere. Turns out they are great at cooking around food allergies, too! Finally tried their breakfast menu and was surprised by how easy it was for them to make adjustments. They even offer gluten free ;) |

Easygoing vibe and a great location to sit back and relax. There are plenty of tables and outlets for laptop users to find a comfy spot to settle in. Also great out dooor seatings out towards Jamison Park. The coffee is good-- however, they do pour overs which takes a bit of time to make. I really love that they serve breakfast until 4 pm. I had roasted potatoes w/ over medium egg and an ice tea for lunch while enjoying a sunny day down in the Pearl. Definitely a relaxing lunch. |
