After 2 not so great visits I decided to stop by to say hi to some friends who were eating dinner. They said the food was not so great and they had to get up and go ask to order after waiting for 20 mins. As they were telling us this the performer who was singing and playing guitar was asking for a drink in the mic about 10 times. He even took money out of his tip jar and was waving it around begging for someone to come take his order. I walked over to the bar where at least 6 workers stood talking to each other clearly not paying attention to any one, and told them the performer was trying to get a drink! The bitchy kid replied "that guy is the last thing I’m worried about" I said oh really I’ll tell him that! He replied "I already did" and laughed. I walked back to my table embarrassed for the singer and pissed that this kid and everyone else working there treats their customers like that. This place won’t last long. There are plenty of places in the pearl to go have a drink. This place offers nothing special! Needless to say I will not be back nor will my friends.

Had a work lunch last week. Waited forever for a drink and the server was terrible. We had the special- strip steak. Asked for mine medium rare- got well done. Server said it was pre-cooked and they couldn't do anything about it. Tasted like beef stew meat. Had to ask for tea refill three times. I'll never eat here again. Can't remember the last time I had such a terrible meal.

Went 9 minutes before happy hour ended.. waiter was super helpful and friendly. got our food and drink order in before it ended. I spilt half my drink on the table/floor and the waiter helped clean it up kindly and brought me a new cocktail right away. The atmosphere was fun and the area is spacious. food was really good and there are actually healthy choices on the happy hour menu which is usually a problem for most happy hour menus. Two salad options... We'll definitely go again, especially since monday happy hour is all dayyyy! Manager stopped at our table at the end and asked us how everything was, and thanked us for coming. It was a pretty full house! Great start to our saturday night.

I like that they offer Happy Hour all day on Mondays-- however, I wasn't impressed with their happy hour food selection (need more variety- and portions). Great offering of drinks though. The menu needs editing as their were several items that were duplicated and made it confusing. I was with a group of people and was hoping to be able to watch the game at the bar, but we all felt strained looking up to see the TVs. The TVs felt small compared to the space. Prior to going to Brix, a few people mentioned to me the service isn't very good. When I went, the service was a little rough, half hearted smiles and perma grins are not warming...in fact, a little scary. Also, they try to take our plates before we were done eating and had to put them back down. It was only 7 pm, we're sitting in the bar, and plenty of empty tables. What's the rush?!

it was a Saturday evening I went to Brix in the Pearl. There was a large group party which seemed fitting for the place considering its large size. We sat in the bar and had drinks and happy hour. The bar is quite large. There are TV's and a pool table as well. I had the ribs on the HH menu which were excellent.

Not a bad spot. Surprised by how good their wine was. Also, there were crayons and table paper galore, which make up for anything lacking in the atmosphere. Likely to have a good time if you go with people you enjoy.
